Chok L’Yisrael was established in the 16th century by Rabbi Chaim Vital, based on the teachings of his master, the Arizal. The Arizal emphasized the spiritual power of engaging with all parts of Torah every single day, regardless of one’s level or available time. The word “chok” means a fixed statute or practice—something done with consistency and commitment. Chok L’Yisrael reflects this idea by creating a daily spiritual rhythm that nourishes both the intellect and the soul. Many have found that its structure brings clarity, balance, and lasting connection to Torah throughout their lives.
